Roshni Raju is a graduate of the American International School Chennai, with both an Inter- national Baccalaureate Diploma and an American Baccalaureate Diploma. During her high school years, Roshni was captivated by the elegance and grace of the Kuchipudi style of dancing after watching her guru Kalaimamani Uma Murali perform. Although trained in Bharatanatyam as a child, Roshni was determined to do her Ranga -pravesam in Kuchipudi before joining medical school. Currently studying medicine, Roshni believes that the combination of fine arts and science helps create a balanced holistic growth in an individual. Her dream is to become a compassionate and dedicated doctor, weaving the therapeutic effects of fine arts with science. She has an avid interest in sketching, and enjoys playing the classical violin.
